This school year, get ready for AWANA happening during the school year on Sundays, from 5:00 PM to 7 PM weekly!

If you loved VBS, you’re going to LOVE AWANA— each week packed with games, music, Bible adventures, snacks, and so much more!

For kids ages 4 years through 6th grade
Program runs August 2025 – May 2026
Sunday Evenings | 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

We’re gearing up for another amazing year of AWANA, and we can’t wait to welcome your kids back this August for a season full of faith, fun, and friendships!

Are you looking for a place where your child can grow in God's Word, build meaningful relationships, and have a blast doing it? AWANA is the place to be!

Each week, clubbers will experience:
✨ Bible lessons rooted in truth
✨ High-energy games
✨ Worship and music
✨ Scripture memory with awards

AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15) and is part of an international ministry dedicated to reaching kids with the Gospel and helping them grow as lifelong disciples of Jesus.

Kids Club (Ages 4 – 6th Grade) will meet in the Worship Center at 5:00 PM
Youth Group (Grades 7 – 12) will meet in Adult 1 Room at 5:00 PM
Both groups rotate through a night of fun and learning—and both end at 7:00 PM.
High schoolers do not need to register for Youth Group.

We’re thrilled to begin this journey with your family as we hide God’s Word in our hearts together.

We are a Christian fellowship, proclaiming the excellencies of our Holy God, and the goodness of His love, mercy and grace as most clearly seen through the good news of Jesus Christ.  Whether you are seeking to grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus Christ, or would simply like to learn about beginning a relationship with Jesus Christ, you are welcome at Overgaard Baptist Church.

At each service we gather to worship and grow through the study of God’s word, through singing songs of praise, and through prayer.  Our desire is to continually grow in grace to conformity to the image of Christ.  We confess that we are imperfect sinners saved by God's grace alone, but we strive to live according to our 3 E's;  We strive to EXALT CHRIST with our lives of worship, EQUIP THE CHURCH with our spiritual gifts, and ENGAGE THE COMMUNITY with the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We are also a church family enjoying fellowship with one another in a variety of activities and ministries. As we work and worship together we find that our faith grows as we enjoy friends old and new.
