Children's Ministry at obc.

Children are important to Jesus, so that means they are important to His church too! We want your kids to learn the Word of God and the truth claims of scripture in a safe, friendly and fun environment. We also want your kids to feel at home at church and even in the main gatherings of the church. Kids are always welcome in any of our main services, we don't mind a little restlessness and mild distractions. For the real young crowd, we offer an Infant Comfort Room and an Extended Session Preschool class during our Sunday Morning Worship Service. Our main Children's Ministries are Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and AWANA.

We have a Infant Comfort Room available during Sunday School, in addition we have classes for kids' preschool all the way through high school. Currently all are doing a study called The Gospel Project, an age-appropriate overview of all of scripture.

Vacation bible School

We are currently in the planning stages of V.B.S. for the summer of 2024. We are looking forward to another great year.

Vacation Bible School is for Ages Preschool - 6th Grade.

A local boys and girls club with an international reach. AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed based on 2 Timothy 2:15. Our club is currently for preschoolers through 6th graders and meets on scheduled Sunday Nights throughout the school year. In AWANA kids are rewarded for memorizing Bible passages and participation in fast moving games. There are many special theme nights and fun things like the AWANA Gran Prix held throughout the year. Boys and Girls get to track their progress with badges worn with pride on their uniforms.  Click Here for more information.
